I'm an experienced reporter with a background in the international development, educational, and nonprofit sectors.

I live in Bogota, Colombia, where I work with nonprofits on their communications issues. Key organizations I work with here include Ashoka Colombia, Somos CaPAZes, and La Escuela de Justicia Comunitaria at the Universidad Nacional.

I also write for U.S. government agencies such as the Department of Housing and Urban Development, in addition to other clients. A multimedia journalist, my photos have been used by the World Health Organization and nonprofits like Awamaki.

My educational background includes coursework in the Master of International Development program at the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. I also hold a B.A. in Professional Writing and Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University.
